Treatment journal
Keeping track of your therapy
When you take Rebif® (interferon beta-1a) to treat your relapsing MS, it's helpful to keep track of your therapy regimen. Rebif is injected three times weekly, at least 48 hours apart. It is important to rotate your injection sites. (Refer to the Medication Guide (PDF) for injection-site selection and additional tips.)
You may find that using a planner to record your treatment regimen can help you stay on track with your treatment. MS LifeLines® has developed a downloadable treatment journal (PDF). This journal contains information and tips to help you with your Rebif treatment, along with weekly tracking pages that will enable you to monitor a month's worth of injections.
Keeping track of symptoms
Of course, keeping track of injections is just one step. It can be easy to forget the details of your treatment or side effects and symptoms you may have experienced when you're sitting face-to-face with your doctor at an appointment. That's why we developed a Symptoms Checklist (PDF). This downloadable checklist can help you keep track of your symptoms, and provide you and your doctor with details that can help to inform your decisions about managing your relapsing MS. Before each doctor's appointment, be sure to review your treatment journal and bring along your Symptoms Checklist.
Please see additional important safety information below and the Rebif Medication Guide and Prescribing Information in the top right corner of this website, and speak with your doctor for more information.
